- 5 tablespoons oil
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 14.5 ounces of beef stock or, in a pinch, melt 3-4 cubes of beef in 2 cups of boiling water.
- 8 oz heavy cream
- Graduation Ceremony TBS Worcestershire
- teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- parsley
Instructions for making simple Swedish meatballs
- Heat the butter and flour in a saucepan over medium heat until the mixture turns brown.
- Add beef and whipped cream and stir.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper. Stir until mixture thickens.
- Add frozen meatballs. Stir until it starts to boil. Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook until meatballs are hot. 1/2 hour.
- Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle with parsley for more color and a nice touch!
